and no, i don't mean barbie horse rides.
i dont really like shooting games or mostly fighting (not cuz im against fighting its just boring to me). i mean games like:
-kya: dark lineage
-beyond good and evil
-ty the tasmanian tiger (SHUTUP ITS AWESOME)
-final fantasy
-prince of persia: sands of time
-ZELDA PWN'S
i like rpg's, nice graphics, and good storyline. oh, and waterslides.
i hate 40 dollar games (im like poor), stupid characters and loves stories. (they fall into the kind of makeup, dress up, barbie games. D:)

There are a total of 33 games on this list. They are all Platformer/Action/Adventure games, my favorite kind. I have enjoyed playing all of these games, I still have them and I do not intend to ever get rid of them. I enjoy replaying them from time to time. I have played all of these games on my PS2, so they could also be played on a PS3. Hope this helps. GAME ON!!!!!

The final Fantasy games are my favorite RPGs, but here are some others that I really like:
Dragon Quest VIII (turn-based RPG by Square-Enix, the Final Fantasy creators)
Dark Cloud 2 (action RPG with a targeting style very similar to Legend of Zelda)
Star Ocean - Till the End of Time (fun action RPG with many great characters and a terrific story)
Kingdom Hearts1 & 2 (action RPG by Square-Enix)
I also think you would like:
The Ratchet & Clank series (fun action games
Shadow of the Colossus (unique action game)
Have fun, all of those games are awesome. Since you are a big Zelda fan, I think you should try Dark Cloud 2 first. You can find it for about $20 new, maybe cheaper used.

It depends on your systems:
PS/PS2:
Any of the Final Fantasy Games (including the PS versions)
Any of the Dragon Quest Games
(On that note any RPG from Square Enix)
Legiala
Shadow Hearts is ok (the first ones were better then the later one)
Any of the Ratchet and Clank Games
Any of the Jax and Daxter series
Any of the Legacy of Kane Series (though it is very gory)
Simpsons: Hit and Run
Kingdom Hearts (both of them)
PS3:
Folklore
Enchanted Arms
Ratchet and Clank Future
The Simpsons Game
Heavenly Sword (though it is very gory)
FlOw (Relaxing and has a $3 price tag)
Portal
PC (Windows):
Civilization (any of them)
Sims 2
Portal
Battle for Westnoth (Runs better under Linux)
PC (Linux):
Battle for Westnoth
I can't speak for Gamecube/Wii or XBox/XBox360 games as I don't own those systems. I have also excluded games you have already listed.

Assassin's Creed will give you a good run for your money if you have a PS3 or a Xbox360. The story line is absolutely sick.
If you have a PS3, 360 or a PC you should check out Elder Scrolls Oblivion. It is quite possibly the most immersive RPG ever made.

Hmm good question, without knowing a little more about your tastes I can't be too specific but...try these on for size, or at least look them up. Most gaming websites (and I know amazon does) have a kind of 'similar people look at' list and you can go from there.
Shadow of the Colossus
Spyro
Crash Bandicoot
Assassin's Creed (hey you said PoP, and you can always wait until the price goes down)
Devil May Cry
Tomb Raider
Disgaea (good luck finding this one though)
Kingdom Hearts
To name a few.

it shouldn't matter what gender you are, your playing a game to have fun or relive stress or what ever.i don't play online but from what i have read and heard girls/women get treated like crap most times which there is no reason for.i personally think its HOT that girls/women play video games and would prefer to be beaten at a game by girls/women.my ex wife always thought video games are for little kids, and she was wrong.i would love to date a gamer girl/women,i think it would be great.hope this helps.keep playing and having fun.
