The difference is not only on the quantity but also in the intensity of that happiness. When you contemplate the truth you can see every aspect of it, and you can choose whether it’s a happy ending or not. If you choose the good ending you will be happy thinking about it but it would be shallow and unfounded.
Acting on it might reveal the harsh reality that you are not getting what you want or bring disappointment. But when you do get what you wanted or needed, the intensity of that happiness cannot be compared.

Depends on what the 'truth' is. If it is a physical truth, it might as well be acted upon, if it is an immaterial truth, it is better to be contemplated on, since contemplation is the 'act' of said truth.

i contemplate the truth and i am always amazed at how i simple truth can be perceived as something else it really is about the how the person perceives it based on notions that are preconceived its fascinating how the mind works

you could do both really. Acting on something without thinking it through can lead to all sorts of huge ugly monsters out there. I find it both funny and slightly awe inspiring that kids will accept all that us adults struggle with. All that why is the sky.........So, is this then what it is to grow up? become complicated and stuff?

TRUTH IS DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE BUT I THINK IF THE TRUTH HARMS ANYONE IT IS OUR DUTY TO ACT ON IT TO MAKE IT RIGHT.
