I love mineral makeup, especially Jane Iredale. There are less expensive brands. Find one that works for you. Good luck. 2D

I know a lot of people really love the stuff but I didnt really get impressed by it at all. You know how stores sell translucent power which you can use to set your makeup? Its like exactly like that in coverage - not very good. I thought oh look on the tv they show how it covers all red and dark circles and everything but it so doesnt at all. Its great if you already have pretty great skin or dont wear makeup usually but when you want something to work as a foundation this is not good enough. Ive heard of some people who break out after using it too.

I have used Bare Minerals for a year and my skin looks great and natural, even people at work comment on how natural I look and all my friends have switched to it as well and love it, just be sure to put it on correctly and not too much. I also tried Sheer Cover and don't like it nearly as well. Good Luck.

I really like bare minerals a lot. I think that its great for covering the dark areas around my eyes, and it looks natural but makes your skin look flawless. I think you can always tell when people wear foundation on their skin and i personally think it looks tacky, which is why i like bare minerals so much, because it doesn't look like your wearing any make up. I definately recommend it, and think its worth the money.

It doesn't hurt to try it - some women LOVE the stuff and others can't stand it.
Personally, I don't find the stuff covers well at all. I vastly prefer Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse. Then I dust the Bare Minerals over it to help "set" it. I find it doesn't look quite as dry as pressed powder, so I may just keep using it for that purpose - but not for coverage.

bare minerals is very expensive, drys out your skin and doesnt stay on your face the entire day especially if you sweat etc. Its not worth the extra money.
Stick with the foundation you use, covergirl has awesome mousse foundations that are worth the money, and work just as good. They also make mousse eyeshadows too.

I absolutely love Bareminerals. its the only foundation thats ever looked pretty and natural on me...dont buy the beginner pack, its a waste of money.
buy:
the handy buki brush
the maximum coverage concealer brush
mineral veil powder (its see thru, matches all skin tones)
whichever foundation matches your skin for the second step (ask people at store)
i personally love the blush "Hint" thats the name of the shade its a cool pink color. its gorgeous! but look at all the blushes while youre there.
im not crazy about the eyeshadow...but I love the foundation!!

i have been using bare minerals for a year and i love it, it doesn't stay on all day though, and doesn't quite cover all blemishes, so it's good for light coverage. the up side is, is that using it helps clear up your skin so all you need is light coverage.
All for all go for it, i like it a lot.
