You can get good deals at Amazon or eBay, but here are a few other great websites:
I've bought a lot of books at Half.com (it's owned by eBay, but I've often found better deals here).
The Strand (NYC's famous bookstore) is online, and sells many of their books (new & used) at a discount. Great selection, too!
Finally, AbeBooks is fantastic. It's a network of 13,500 booksellers (including independent & used bookstores), and they carry many rare and out-of-print books as well. You can find things at ridiculously low prices, too.
