I've done the research already. Just not sure how to start it. Writer's block...

Maybe you could start the paper with some research on evolution in animals, since there is solid proof/facts of evolutionary changes in animals that could be a strong starting point to prove that it 'makes more sense.'

Start with a logical argument. A theory has to do the following:

Explain the observed facts, and make predictions.

Go onto a website and get the precise definition of a theory, and go over some of the predictions that evolution makes. Note the work of Stanley Miller in the 1950's, the continued proof of genetic modification of foods ( which we can do because of evolution of a common ancestor to the cereals).

What you will find is that creationism has no predictions, nothing to offer but faith in a book. As such, what makes it any more credible than the Aesir (Norse Mythology) building the world from Ymir's bones?

Well, what it boils down to is that evolution is the best way we know to explain the physical evidence. Creationism (at least the extreme version that gets into the papers) can't do so. Attempts are often more akin to "pseudoscience" than genuine science.

Disclaimer: I'm a creationist in the sense that I believe that "In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth." However, I accept the physical evidence that indicates that the beginning was about 13.7 billion years ago.

:) Why not start with a quote from T. Wallace:

“A major reason why evolutionist arguments can sound so persuasive is because they often combine assertive dogma with intimidating, dismissive ridicule towards anyone who dares to disagree with them. Evolutionists wrongly believe that their views are validated by persuasive presentations invoking scientific terminology and allusions to a presumed monopoly of scientific knowledge and understanding on their part. But they haven’t come close to demonstrating evolutionism to be more than an ever-changing theory with a highly questionable and unscientific basis. (The situation isn’t helped by poor science education generally. Even advanced college biology students often understand little more than the dogma of evolutionary theory, and few have the time [or the guts] to question its scientific validity.)”

I wonder if you have really done your research...
