Sata Drivers normally come on a floppy and you usually install at the blue installation screen with win XP. if you are able too like mine does, mine will do a normal install. Then i have to go in manually and install the driver out of the chipset files. You may be able to install XP without it like mine does but will only recognize it as an IDE controller.

All the required Acer drivers are on the Recovery disks.

Read the Acer User Manual.

you can go to http:/driverguide.com and look for it if you dont find it in the manufacturer website now if your trying to downgrade from vista to xp try getting all the drivers for all the devices including the HDD you can do this with driver recolector is a software that saves all the drivers that are in your nb you can download it from http:/softpedia.com good luck amigo

You did not mention which Drivers. Anyways, all the drivers are categorized and can be downloaded directly from

Just select the place under which U live, if u live in India, select Asia-Pacific. Then next , select your product and then the drivers you want.
