Should he retire? Do you think he can still get to another Super Bowl? I think he's a very good athlete and seems to be a good guy and doesn't have a swelled head like Tom Brady! Opinions?

I thought he was done a couple of years ago. I thought he just didn't want to admit to himself that he was done.
He has somehow managed to get things back on track at the age of 38. This proves to me he is definitely one of the all time greats.
And as far as Tom Brady, his ego is so big he has probably has trouble fitting into the stadium. His whining about the crowd noise in Indy was pathetic.

Farve is simply the toughest player ever to play quarterback-anywhere.

He has great poise, vison and accuracy, not to mention arm strength.

I don't believe he is the best "talent" in the NFL, but his intagebles are so off the charts it more than makes up for it. I'm not saying he doesn't have great talent, he does, just not the best.

He'll be in the playoffs this year for sure. Whether he makes the superbowl or not depends on how his defense handles some of the other good NFC teams.

I have to dis-agree with you about Tom Brady. I don't think he has a swelled head at all. He's also a great quarterback. Actually I read a Sports Illustrated article about how he is very quiet and reserved.

Overall, I always like to see Farve do well, I just want my Lions to beat them.

I think that Brett favre is one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game and he has the stats to back it up. I think it would be good to see him win another ring, but with the way the patriots, Colts, and Steelers are looking in the AFC, and the way my Cowboys are looking in the NFC, Brett will definitely have his work cut out for him. I love Brett Favre as a quarterback, but I'm a Cowboys fan, so I'll be going against the Packers when they play the Boys.

there is too much to say about this guy. he's my hero. the toughest QB ever to play the game. the only player to win the MVP 3 times. but to answer your question i don't think he should retire till he gets one more superbowl ring and yes he can do, especially with the team he has now. and Tom Brady doesn't even compare to him at least as a person. Brett's not a cheater and wouldn't leave the mother of his child for another supermodel skank.

Someday he should retire, he has done more than enough for football and changed the game forever. I think he will win another ring and earn all the respect of those who don't think he is worthy of it. Tom Brady deserves alot of credit for the way he handles himself, you have to be aggressive and defensive these days. The NFL has some class acts, but even manning and brady don't compare to Favre.

Best football player ever.

Through adversity and tremendous success, he has been humble. No one has ever been more reliable at his position. He has not had great weapons like some of the other great QBs in history. He's only had one established WR in his career and that was Sterling Sharpe. He's only had one 1st rounder after that and that was Javon Walker. Brett Favre finds receivers out of nowhere and makes them stars. Other receivers (like Antonio Freeman) had great success with Favre, but when they left Green Bay they couldn't do anything. No other QB can do more with less than Brett Favre. This season is a great example. When his team had absolutely no running game, he still produced. Even when his team struggled with WRs getting hurt last two years, Favre still fought on...throwing to people they picked up that same week. Now, when they have some continuity, you see what kind of success he can have. He will be back in the superbowl before he retires.

He is the most durable player in the history of the NFL at his position.

He is the most passionate at any position.

Brett Favre is the best football player of all time.

He is one tough s.o.b., and he is also one of the greatest players to play quaterback. Along with all of his achievments let us not forget about the massive amount of killers he used to take. Everyone forgave hime and said it's ok because he admitted he had a problem, but what would have happened if he would have failed a couple of the leagues drug tests. Would he still be regarded as one of the best? I am all for Favre, but his carrer hasn't been exactly squeaky clean. I remember watching something where he said he was taking like 12-15 killers a day. Thats a serious crime and if you or I was accused of that people would probaly not forgotten so quickly.

Brett has had a story book career with little to no injuries and is going out on a winning note if he decides to do so.

As for the Super Bowl this year, that won't be happening. The Packers are not as good as their 8-1 record would lead most to believe.

Brett Favre has always been great.

Some years it's been hard to tell because his O-line was not very good - and the defense gave up points - and his receivers were slow/small/not very good.

Now that he has good players (even though they are the youngest team in the league) - his greatness is again apparent.

I think you don't know what you're talking about as far as Tom Brady...and Brett Favre still has it, obviously...8-1...
