Yes. Same thing, different names. RJ45 is the connector style for an Ethernet cable.

Yes , ethernet cables use an RJ45 interface - which is the plug itself. The cable should have cat5 or cat6 printed along the sheath and either should be OK for your application.

Yes RJ45 is an Ethernet cable it will work RJ11 is phone cable it will NOT work

Technically speaking, RJ45 refers to the plug and jack design, NOT the cable itself. But yes, the commonly used CAT5 100Base-T Ethernet does use RJ45 plug and jack.

It should. Infact ethernet is ran thru RJ-45 and it will not support RJ-11.
