are you married? because if you are not, you shouldn't be having sex. and definately don't kill a baby, or you will be scarred emotionally for life. >L

It can still work but it's effectiveness is severely reduced after 72 hours as that would have been enough time for a fertilised egg to implant. The morning after pill does not affect implanted eggs.
Wait to see if your next period turns up and go from there. Bear in mind that it might be a bit late/early due to the high dose of hormones you have just taken.
In future, remember to get the morning after pill ASAP after unprotected sex.

They say 72 hours which is probably correct but I'm sure they also give it a little bit of extra time. Either way, you need to get to a doctor ASAP to figure out what your next step needs to be. If you are not pregnant get on some Birth Control. And don't listen to religeous fanatics telling you are wrong to have sex or even if you did decide on abortion that you are an evil person. Make your own decisions and don't let that kind of crap bring you down!

Yes. It's just not very effective. EC must be started up to 120 hours — five days — after unprotected intercourse to reduce the risk of pregnancy. The sooner it is started, the better. EC reduces the risk of pregnancy by 75-89 percent when started within 72 hours. You can check on plannedparenthood.org and see that it's true.
