Personally I think Hillary wouldn't win the national election but that Edwards could. Maybe it's a scheme from the conservative media to make Hillary the front runner so Republicans can get back into the whitehouse. I'm joking, but Hillary is so polarizing I just don't think she would win nationally. In Iowa the polls show that Edwards, Obama, and Clinton are in a dead heat. You'd think Obama and Edwards would get the same amount of press.

I like Edwards better too. But Clinton has more money to spend. The media always declare the richest candidate the presumptive nominee, partly because all that money ends up being spent on media!

The media are only interested in maximizing their income and their audience. For some reason they seem to find it better to portray political races as one front-runner and a bunch of also-rans. It was the same with Hillary's husband--as soon as he entered the race he was seen by the media as the winner and all the other candidates were marginalized.

It's maddening.

Instead of informing people about all of the candidates, the media have pre-picked the only ones they'll talk about, the only ones we're "supposed" to consider.

Then they do "horse race" coverage, rather than telling us anything we need to know to make wise decisions.

I agree that Edwards would appeal to a much broader range of Americans. I'm hoping that Hilary and Barak will sort of beat each other up, and Edwards will stroll on by the mess to the nomination.

The media has picked Hillary as their candidate and are not giving equal press to the others.

I like Edwards a lot. He is a RFK populist. He will get our troops out of Iraq, he has a better plan for health care reform, and a better plan for climate change and energy independence. And Elizabeth Edwards is an extremely classy person that would make a wonderful first lady, I admire her a lot. I guess the media has decided on who they want.

No he doesn't, he keeps talking about the two America's but look at how he lives. He is a hypocrite and a phony. Hillary gets all the press because she is the front runner, Edwards is a distant 3rd.

For whatever reason, the press and Hilary are in bed together. She's as socialist as they come and they just love her. It's a fact, so just accept it as that. Plus, the old tit for tat mentality of the liberal media, I guess they want to extend the Bush/Clinton/Bush/Clinton dynasty.
