They say King-of-the-Hill type things like, "Yep." So I step in and say, "Well it was nice to hear from you. You take care now, ok?" I know 3 people like that. Does this happen to you?

There's been a couple I knew who just hung up because they didn't know what to say. That was wierd because I never knew when the conversation was over or even just winding down. Just suddenly I was talking in a dead phone.

Oh I hate that. My niece is like that, she'll call and not really say anything just sit there holding the phone. I'm like "OK I'll talk to you later" and she just acts like I should hold the phone and listen to nothing.

Usually it's how to start a conversation that's the problem, I hate it when people call and there like
Hey what are you doing?
Nothing just watching T.V., what are you doing?
Nothing, just being bored!!

my mother in law says "OK?" five times before we actually say goodbye...it's sooooo annoying. I just now say goodbye immediately.
