Ricky williams was reinstated by the NFL this week. The question being asked is "Who need a running back?" I can think of a couple teams that would want a proven solid running back. But the one that sticks out to me is the Green Bay Packers. They have alot they can send to a team for Ricky Williams and they are in need of a proven runner (No offense to Ryan Grant). Is it possible to see Ricky in Green Bay? If not, who will he play for?

To the question who would want an idiot like ricky on their team I say who would want an idiot like Randy Moss on their team? At this point. I would. If ricky can do what Moss can, and turn it around, I would take him. And No I don't think that they Have to have him. I said Proven runner. Ryan Grant has proven in two games, great, awesome. However, Ricky has proven himself to be a solid runner much more. Even though his off field life isn't the best, you never know what the future can hold for Ricky Williams.

The bottom line is the Packers don't need him. Depth is always important for success in the NFL, but at this point their TEAM is solid. Bring him on board, but you would have to be in a serious situation before anyone would think of giving him some real playing time. We all know Ricky could go either way, but at the first sign of even a hint of trouble I would give him the axe, then get the number to his connection.

First off last I checked Green Bay's colors are Green and Yellow(won't even get into the color issue, I'm saying I thought they official team colors as Green and Yellow). So back to the real question. Why wouldn't the Dolphins need a RB? I'm not saying they want him, but this was about what team needs one. Well face it who really expects to see Williams make it to next year, based on his track record. So with Brown out for the year and the Dolphins not likely to get anything for him they would likely keep him for the year and hope he does good enough that they could get something for him next season, at least that is my guess. Now come next year who knows who will want/need a new running back.

I think he would fit in great in Green Bay and would definitely be a 2nd option behing Farve. He is still gotta be in good shape and is probably not going to be in Miami, despite the fact they don't have a running back down there as of right now. If he stays in Miami, it definitely won't last, b/c Miami is already committed to Ronnie Brown. If Miami was smart, they would trade him to Green Bay for either a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick.

I think Ricky will ruin the team chemistry that GB has established. I think we need to wait and see what Grant does the rest of the year before we decide whether or not we need a RB.

I'm not sure (unless Miami releases him) that any one else can have him. Trade deadline has passed, so it's a moot point.
Who would want him? GB is a possibility, but they're not going to mess with 8-1 chemistry now.
Texans, Bills (if Lynch is seriously injured), Chiefs (same for LJ), Bucs could all be potential suitors. You need to have at least a remote chance at making the playoffs to even think about it (Saints come to mind too).

would have some thing to do with sponsors? they adjust particularly often because of fact it will make people desire to purchase their new playing precise, whether they have the previous gold one. So it fairly is a advertising concern. Are South Africa's shirts eco-friendly nevertheless? because of fact there could be a conflict concern there for the duration of the worldwide Cup. possibly Australia will replace back then. individually i admire the gold ones greater advantageous.

Why would you want that idiot on your team? He's a goof off with no ambition, and will quit when things get tough. Not to mention he hasn't been a running back in over a year.
Its not worth it, but if you don't like being 8-1, go for it!

Ryan Grant has started to play well...They don't need to risk their 8-1 season on a guy who would just go smoke weed over playing for his team...and besides, nobody can get him until Miami decides to release him...He's still their property...and at 0-9, they might have a change of heart...

I don't know if the style of Williams personal life would flow with the Green Bay team style.

Could you imagine how much weed Ricky would have to burn to stay warm in Green Bay.
