Surely, you must have rehab centers for those recovering from drugs and or alcohol, in your area. These rebs would be totally excited about receiving such a donation! You could take it off your taxes, as a charitable deduction, and allow the people in these rehabs something to DO, while IN the rehab! I am a social worker, and I know that the rehabs in my own area have absolutely nothing for the people in the rehabs to do. This is a sad thing, as people often leave because there is simply nothing to look forward to during the long days and nights of recovery.

If you want a tax write off... be sure to donate to a NON profit Org!!! There are good answers so far!! I lived in Virginia 2 years ago and donated mine to the military thrift store, which in turn were given to the VET's to repair.... yours are in good shape.... Here in Wiconsin, I would contact Social Services and ask about Org's that would NEED them... they would be more than happy to assist!! Also contact any special needs schools in your area. Our children are our future!!! What better gift than the knowledge a computer will bring a child!!!

In St. Louis Goodwill won't take them, but I think Salvation Army will... or donate them to a church's rumage sale, school or Boys/Girls club!

Your nearest high school, elementary, or middle school would probably love to have them. Talk to the people at these places.
