I wear brown for work and at home but I wear Black when I am going out or to a club. Brown is softer if you have brown/blonde/red hair and brown/hazel sometimes green eyes. If you have dark eyes or blue with black hair go with black all the time.

usually black but I like to do brown depending on what I am wearing and if I'm doing eyeshadow and all or just liner and mascara
also do one called raisin, it makes green eyes stand out more, lavenders and Burgundies do

Black because I'm black and it would just blend in if I used brown and I wouldn't get that lucious look I go for.

i usually use black but sometimes it looks to harsh because some girls like cake it on their eyes.
if your going for a more natural subtle thing,
use brown eye liner.
