It should be compulsory since many students will want to stop going to school and it is good for them to continue.

In our colonial times the law that compelled attendance was called the Old Delude law since it dropping out was considered to be the work of the devil.

Some parents also might prefer their children to work at an early age and provide them with money rather than going to school.

Do you want to be a dummy all of your life ? Can you suggest a better method of instilling the three elements of being able to communicate with each other like reading, and writing, and standing before a class and reciting verbally ? After one learns the basics you feel there is no need for schooling ? Or are you asking the question just to stimulate thought? Now give your reasons why schooling should not be compulsory ?
