IF I was on the Dolphins this would be killing me this year. They were that close against the Giants. They were that close off the by against the Bills. It would be so frustrating to be that close. The time frame though it would pretty much kill my morale. That's a large part of why Beck is going in this week. Trying to get ANY spark. They don't want the morale to be gone after this loss. They will right it off as the first start of a rookie and safe themselves for one game.

That would be pretty heartbreaking. Especially, because then you have to site through six months of hearing about being the worst team in the history of the NFL.

*Edit*
Not every NFL player makes the big bucks. So, not all of them will smile all the way to the bank.

I would say that it would be demoralizing for most of the players. Even though most of them make millions of dollars, most of them are competitive and do not want to lose. If i was a player, I would be upset if my team did not win a game.

Most NFL players are paycheck players and don't care about wins. There are very few who truly have to win.

If I'm getting paid millions of dollars, not that hard.
