Because they are insecure and afraid the other woman is better at sex than she is. When she cheats she does it for revenge for one reason or another, or because she doesn't feel her husband understands her needs.

I think men and women are both equally hurt and pissed off if they find out that they have been cheated on. Another reason
most women cheat becuase they may be lacking some emotional connection with their mate. Most men cheat just for sex.

I think it depends on who you talk to/ the situation, my fiancee and I had an issue about a year back.. i realized it wasn't totally his fault and that I was wrong in a lot of ways that piled up and pushed him into a miserable mindset that caused a bad situation in which he cheated, it took a while for me to build up trust in him again but were back together and going strong now. I think a lot of people in general are to wrapped up in themselves to see that there are 2 sides to each story, both people can have fault in that situation and that it wasn't just inability to resist temptation

when women cheat, the men tend to be upset about the actual act of his woman having sex with someone else. it's somewhat of a possessive nature to be territorial.
for women, when their man cheats, they are more upset on the possibilities of them having actual feelings for the other woman. women are just generally more emotional. sometimes it's not the act that makes them most upset, but the thought of losing their man's love and affection.

Barbara E is wrong when she says far more men cheat than women. Statistically, women have caught up to and even surpassed men in this category. It is a damned shame but nonetheless it is part of the do as you please culture we live in.

well maybe they are only doing it to get back at the man for doing it in the first place. plus not a lot of women cheat it may seem like they do but i bet you they don't and men are stupid for thinking they could get away with it!!!
