Well, it doesn't appear to violate any of the community guidelines, as far as it isn't an ethnic slur, insulting or otherwise in violation. Perhaps you could resubmit the question in a different form, such as "What exactly is figgy pudding?" Or "What's the origin of the term, figgy pudding? Is there such a thing?" Or even, "What's the recipe for figgy pudding?" I presume that's the gist of your question, but I could be wrong. Believe me, I've heard some other so-called questions that were much, much worse than yours, and in fact, wondered how they even got on here. I won't go into the gory details. However, I was in violation one time for a perfectly legitimate answer, so here's what I did. I explained my situation to the powers that be. I think there's somewhere on the violation where you can protest it, and have your question reinstated. As for low life's, there are plenty of those around, and I think they get on the site just to create agitation. So don't despair! State your case in a polite and reasonable manner, and I'll bet your question gets reinstated. You may just want to word it differently. I hope this helps. Good luck, my friend.....(I've often wondered myself, just exactly what figgy pudding is:)

Could be someone who dislikes figgy pudding.
I find it more odd that yahoo would remove such a question. It appears to me, from talking to various people that the support staff of yahoo doesn't have the first clue as to what constitutes a violation and what does not.
Personally I find the lewd and suggestive pictures people use as avatars offensive. Children use this service, but yet they don't remove those accounts.

I find that I usually get those violation notices after I send a question to voting. I think 1, 3 and 4(religious zealots who think they are doing God's work on Earth) It could not be 2, because I am not at all friendly. Note, I am not talking about the ones I post that could be thought of as offensive, just those that are not offensive.

Even if we had the figgy pudding how would we bring it to you. The Yahoo!Answer question and answer site is set up for generating PRUDENT questions to get PRUDENT answers.

Aaaaah somebody doesn't have the strength to face the TRUTH. Trust me I have had my share of violations and CANCELED accounts. Play fair and according to the rules.
