1. Take the square root of 4, which would be 2. Then just keep the negative sign, so you'd have -2. (If the negative sign was inside the square root, it would be different...then we'd be talking about imaginary numbers!)
2. I don't think I've ever seen an equation like this, where the entire thing is under the square root sign. Seems a little weird, but you'd just go about solving it normally, combining like terms, so you'd have 3x = 0, then dividing both sides of the equation by 3, so x = 0. Then you would have the sq rt. of x = the sq rt. of 0. so you'd square both sides of the equation, and get x = 0.
3. 9*9 = 81, so the square root of 81 is 9. Pretty straightforward.
4. you would add 7*sqrt(7) + 4*sqrt(7) and get 11*sqrt(7). if it makes it easier, imagine the sqrt(7) as an unknown, say "x". so you'd have 7x + 4x, and you know that would be 11x. So you have 11*sqrt(7). Take the square root of 7 on your calculator, then multiply it by 11. Then you would round to the nearest hundredth. if my calculations are correct, it comes out to 29.10326442....etc. So your answer would be 29.10, and yes the 0 is important, because it said hundredth place, and if you just wrote 29.1 they would assume you rounded to the tenths place.
Good luck, hope this helps!

1. -√(2)*√(2) = -2
2.
√(3x+6-6)=0
√(3x)=0
0^2=3x
0=3x
0/3=x
x=0
3. √(81)=√(9)*√(9)= 9 Thus it is rational. Since it terminates, and it does not continue on for ever in a decimal way.
4. 7√(7) on your calculator is = 18.52
4√(7) on your calculator is = 10.58
18.52+10.58=29.10
Hope it helps! :)

At 4:10pm they're going to flash together. All you do is upload 120 until eventually you get a volume divisible by ability of one hundred 120*5 = 600s 600s/60s in accordance to minute = 10min each and every 10 min they both flash
