They probably just want to work in an environment full of women so they can talk shopping and clothes.

If somebody was able to force you to be a florist for example, would you start being attracted to men? Thinking somebody is going to "become gay ''as a result of the job they choose is just about as stupid as it gets. A lot of gays may choose jobs like those, but people with such jobs aren't all gay, and there are gay football players, construction workers and all traditionally male jobs. You just don't don't notice them near as much because they don't fit into your neat little stereotype.

If you're gay, you're gay - your career choice didn't make you that way. The careers you named aren't exclusively feminine in nature, they're just perceived as such compared to wielding a hammer and the like. I notice you mentioned hairdresser as a homosexual choice, yet not a barber - does this mean just because they work on women's hair as well as men's, they're gay? Young children need more male role models in our society, and a lot of male teachers get their start in the younger grades - does wanting to influence a young child's early education make him gay?? I hardly think a teacher would consider his profession "inappropriate". Your statement is very stereotypical and offensively homophobic.

Its not quite almost certain. Many gays do pick those kind of jobs but not all interior designers are gay nor are all kindergarten teachers. They certainly do not become gay as a result of gender inappropriate career choices!!

"Gender-inappropriate"?
Perhaps you live a life of limited experience. I can understand describing occupations and genders as traditional and non-traditional....but gender-appropriate and gender-inappropriate seem like an odd way to designate occupations.
My husband's firefighter colleagues include females who are not homosexual.
My nursing colleagues include men who are not homosexual.
As long as the duties are performed well and with integrity then gender or sexual preferrence means very little, imo.
Why do you think it is inappropriate for men to work in certain creative fields?

You forgot to add University Professor. I have never been accused of being gay. The only guys that I homophobic are the ones that are insecure about their own masculinity or have not come out of the closet.

I used to be a bank teller and i worked with all women... the only person not a woman was my branch manager. I don't like working with ALL women because they gossip too much and talk shopping and clothes, plus when one of their boyfriends did something stupid i had to be asked a million times "why do guys act so stupid?"

ok all of those may warrant a man is homosexual...i said may but not always. some are straight..some are married and some have kids.
but kindergarten teacher may warrant he is a pedophile..
may...but not always. he could just genuininly love to teach children.
but one of the scariest things i ever heard by a pedophile was.
" we are everywhere...we are cops, we are lawyers, we are judges, we are teachers, we are your next door neighbor...we are everywhere...and you most likely will never know it"

May be those are traditionally gay jobs and not female or male jobs. You assumed those are traditionally female jobs by mistake.

Yeah because girls who work in car shops are ALWAYS lesbian. Re-think your question! I mean, of course not ALL of them are!! I'm sure there are some but it is sexist and you can't lump people together like that.
No jobs are gender based!!
