I have a Divorce/custody/shid support case that is out of California. I currently live in Ohio. What are the steps I need to take to transfer the case to Ohio?

I'm assuming you want this case transferred because you have a child support/custody issue and that your divorce is already finalized. If you have custody, you should be able to transfer the case and have the State of Ohio take jurisdiction of the case. If you do not have custody you will not be able to transfer your case whether it is a custody or child support case to Ohio.

This is not normally done. You just go by the paperwork that was given in the original court case. My wife gets (arrearage) child support that was ordered when we lived in Florida, from an ex that lives in Tenn and we now live in Arkansas. Florida collects the Child Support and sends it to Arkansas. No additional paperwork or change of case was permitted.
