should immigration be stopped all together?

too many people are worried and complaining about it that it;s got out of hand, so should it be stopped and to make room for the natives?

No. All immigration? So are you saying that we can't marry someone from another country and let them live here legally? What about people important to this country like Albert Einstein was? We have immigration for a reason. There are just a lot of people that are breaking the law and doing it illegally. People will do it whether it is legal or not. Personally I'd rather the people pay taxes and be subject to our laws if they're going to be here. I think the standards to get legal immigration status should be strict but banning it would cause even more problems than we have already.

Make room for the natives????? What does that mean???? I don't think that native Americans are in the midst of a population explosion. If you are referring to something like the mexica movement, then you are out of your mind. We have to live in todays world....not yesterdays!
America and Mexico are separated by a border that was agreed upon many years ago. Fair?? Maybe not, but it's the way it is today. If you would rather see California, New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado as part of Mexico....I think you are inviting a repeat of history. If you are not happy with the way the way Mexico is today.....change it. Don't come to America and try to force change upon us.

Actually that idea is not as wacky as it sounds. It really is a question of whether you admit that this country is facing serious economic and financial problems. If you think that we are, then what you say makes sense....unless of course, you are one who feels that the solution to our problems is that we need more cheap labor to bolster our economy. I personally do not think we do, but there are those for whom a consistent nearly infinite flow of cheap labor is the end all be all of economic success.
In my opinion, illegal immigration should be stopped. I am all for legal immigration, just like we have had in the past. I am against turning our immigration policy into a way of strictly funneling the cheapest most uneducated laborers possible into this country.

No, but the process of immigration should be streamlined. Also, illegals should be forced to go through the new process in x amount of months or de deported and never allowed back. Then, the only ones here illegally would be the actual criminals. Those that are here to work would be documented, and social security wouldn't be bankrupt in 20 years because we'd have all that new tax revenue going in.

Why should good, hardworking people who are trying to do things the right way have to suffer because of criminals? America needs and wants immigrants for many reasons. It isn't fair that we shut the door because of all the criminals. Let's deport all illegals right away and go back to business of picking and choosing who we let in and who stays out.

I would like to see it cut back 95% and only allowing people in for the duration of the job they came to do. I am against giving them UK citizenship . Immigrants are not the successful sophisticated people who came here in previous centuries, they are mostly from failed corrupt countries
