I have a soft voice and it has been pointed out to me that sometimes people do not hear what I have said, so there may be a few 'welcomes' you just did not hear.

Yes! But you know what? They are the ignorant ones because they don't know what to say after a "Thank you" which in reality makes them look stupid, but not enough to hate them.

It does get on my nerves sometimes , but that's no reason to hate them. To know that the only thing a person wants is to be recognized for your niceness. Because when your recognized for your niceness it makes you feel good. But they seem not to pay attention.

It's bothers me a little. Especially when they hold the door open and you say thank you and they say nothing. It's like, hello? Did you see me? Did you mean to hold the door open for me?

Yes, and I hate people who don't say thank you, when you hold the door for them.

No hate is a strong word, however, I see it as a bad reflection on there upbringing. Like the had un educated parents.

No. Hate is such a cruel word for impoliteness. Maybe annoyed sometimes if I see rudeness but not hate. o.k.

I can't stand the ones you smile and nod to and they glare at you like you killed their dog! But sometimes I will smile or say mm-hmm or nod my head in acknowledgment of their thanks instead of saying "you're welcome." Do you still hate me? :(
