I have bad allergies and I'm not sure if i can take it

This is on my ok list of meds while pregnant. Of course you should ask for a list from your doctor, but below is what my doctor gave me.

Headaches - Tylenol
Cold - Contac or Tylenol Cold & Sinus
Sinus Congestion - Sinutab, Sudafed, Actifed, or Benadryl
Sore Throat - Cepacol, Sucrets, Chloraseptic lozenges
Heartburn - Maalox, Mylanta, Tums
Diarrhea - Immodium AD
Constipation - Surfak, Milk of Magnesia, Metamucil
Hemorrhoids - Annusol or Analpram 1%
Cough - Robitussin DM
Nausea - Emetrol, Vitamin B6 25 mgs 3x day, Sea-Bands

Talk to your dr. Benedryl is not usually recomended for pregnant women. If you are having alot of nasal congestion you can take chortrimaton or sudefed. It could be that your dr can prescribe something that works better tho, so give him a call.

Keep in mind that the baby develops rapidly during the first few months, and after than it is just growth. So, any toxins that you may put in your body are especially dangerous now

yes, absolutely for sure 100% yes you can. first hand exerience here. ive had 4 healthy, gorgeous babies and i took benadryl with them. i acutally didnt use the benadryl for allergies tho, i used it for the sleep medication in them. my doctor RECCOMMENDED i either take benadryl or tylenol pm. so yes, fir sure it is ok to benadryl while pregnant.

im pregnant right now and benadryl is very safe to take. it will just make you sleepy. ask your doctor to give you a list of over the counter medications you can take while pregnant. my doctor did.

I had a terrible cold...dr said "take benedryl" Its perfectly safe. Here are the safe meds during pregnancy

What does the label say? I'm pretty sure it says if you are nursing or pregnant, ask your doctor.

No you absolutely cannot. I dont care what any doctor or answerer tells you. Its a load of bull crap. That stuff is dangerous for the unborn.

No you cannot! My dr did tell me I could take Sudafed though. I would be sure and ask your dr to be safe
