Maybe....but if you received an email stating that you have won some money because Microsoft randomly chose your email, it is a scam. Just delete it.

It is a scam that the rightful owwners and manager so Micro Soft have not yet seen fit to address publically.

Do not forward any information to them, espcially not your name, address, social security number, bank account number, date of birth, etc as any and all such information can be used to steal your identity.

No, it's a scam.

You didn't win anything. In order to "get your check" you'll have to pay the "fees", "insurance", "courier". Obviously, there are no such things. You'll be sending your money to a guy sitting on a dirty cyber cafe in western Africa.
