OMG. I thought I was the only one who was like that, until recently I heard about others.. I always had this weird issue with my food touching on the plate.. I hate it.. when i was a kid I loved TV dinners because of the separate areas for the foods.. I also eat one thing at a time..

and of course I dont mix things in my mashed potatos either..

just cant bring myself to do it.. i need to taste each thing separatly..

Not so much. I don't like sweet things mixed with non sweet. I usually mix my veggies with my mashed taters. Yum! Taters/corn/gravy! My daughter and oldest granddaughter eat all of one thing then move on to the next thing. Expect the corn/taters/gravy which I passed on to them.

No, sometimes I mix on the plate and I eat day old taters all the time, bread taters and gravy stacked 3 layers high, YUM!!!

I don't mind if my food is touching. Except for something like green beans and dessert.

I like gravy mixed with my mashed 'taters'.

I really don't care if my food's touching each other on the plate. And when it comes to mixing stuff into your taters, I'm all about mixing my peas and corn into the potatoes!

I like when things mix together on my place, it enhances the flavor, and you can never mix to much stuff in your mashed taters.

definite... I fairly can't have any diverse ingredients touching one yet another on the plate. If there's an excellent meal coming (fairly in resturaunts) then I continuously ask for each merchandise to be brought about seperate plates.

No, not if they are things that go together. But I don't want sweet and savory stuff to mix.

I don't usually eat mashed taters.

I don't mind it at all, and I love mixing crap into my tators! Yummy, nothing is yummier than some corn and gravy mixed in with the tators! My husband has to eat one thing at a time. He can't like take a bite of tators, then a bite of chicken. He has to eat all the tators before he eats the chicken.
