Does anyone know if Yankees would talk a deal with A Rod only when Boras is not involved, would Boras still be able to get his 6% bloody commission......?

Thank you!

Yes, Boras will get his commision. A-Rod met with the yankees without Boras in the room, BUT Scott Boras is still an administrator in what goes on with the deal. A-rod isnt doing this bye himself like it all sounds, theres help all over with it.

Boras will get his commision IF a deal falls through, which probably will happen.

I'm sure that if A-Rod didn't give him his usual commission, Boras would probably sue him for it. After all Boras is only interested in..........Boras! He might as will give him his "blood money" and then cut the cord with him.

If anything Boras has made a major @$$ out of himself. I think it's great.

I read that this could have been a strategic ploy by Boras and Arod. Not sure how that would work since the Yanks no longer have a cash cow subsidizer (the Rangers). Then the Yankees say that Arod is taking that into account. 10 years for $275 mil is being accountable for that minor technicality (said with much sarcasm).

i hope Arod fires him first would any of us really hate arod if he didnt sign that huge contract 7 years ago he is the best player and minus playing for the yankees i dont think so. Boras turned him into a a mordern day baseball player hitler the everybody loves to hate, only in the sense everyone hates him of course

Yes he will, there is an article on the main page of ESPN.com that was posted this morning saying that he will roughly make $14 million of of this deal if A-Rod does indeed sign the $290 million contract.

The Mick you're right I think that's how alot of those agents probably are but so is A-Rod, in fact he probably isn't using him so he can keep that extra money isn't that A-Rod just looking out for... A-Rod?

Mike Greenberg said it would be 10%, but he could've been throwing out a ballpark figure.
