State Dept. Inspector General Alvin Krongard, amid controversy over his alleged refusal to hold contractors in Irag accountable, had to recuse himself from the Blackwater investigation when it was revealed that his brother is on their board of directors. Doesn't anyone have a problem with Dick Cheney owning Haliburton stock?

Yes I have a problem with it.

To those above: Do you think that because he has sold his stock or his stock went into trust or that he divested his holdings. Does it not resonate in your empty little heads that this man has strong ties to this corporation who was awarded the sole contract to rebuild Iraq?

You people cannot be this extremely stupid to think that there is no conflict of interest here.

all of his stock went into a trust at the time of his election. He has had no dealings with the company ever since.

When will you Lib's start to comprehend instead of just lashing out?

Dick Cheney does not own any Haliburton stock.
By law, he was required to place all of his assets into a blind trust upon his oath of office. All of his assets were liquidated, and reallocated within the blind trust by the trustee, and by law, he is not informed as to what those assets are invested in.

I have a problem with the fact that you don't know that Dick Cheney sold most of his Haliburton stock when he became VP.
