Cool spots along I-10?

m doing a road trip from San Jose, CA to San Antonio, TX...and would like to have some fun along the way... what are some good places, on the way, that are worth stopping at?

joshua tree national park, phoenix, saguaro national park, old tucson, desert museum, benson, white sand national park, el paso, rio grande.

A short side trip to Tombstone AZ is worth the drive. Also, in Willcox AZ there is a neat diner with very good food. It is Carters Drive In. On the west side of town. Take business route I-10.
Locals really like it.
