Whenever I change pages on my comp it goes boink! boink! It is really irritating. I have not made any changes with my settings ( unless it was an accident ) and it did not used to do this. How can I get rid of it?

Hi. "Start> Control panel> Sounds and audio> Sounds tab>". Find the sound that is activating and disable it. You will need to experiment.

Is it your monitor that's doing "boink boink"? or your speaker?

If it's your monitor, that means your monitor got damaged. Usually, old monitors do some electrical noise when the whole content of the screen is changed. I don't think this kind of problem can be repaired, i never heard monitors do "boink boink."

I agree. It sounds like a slightly damaged monitor, or a failing monitor component. I have heard the noise you're describing, and it emanated from the monitor, and I had to replace it.
