One of the best ways is to donate blood. They will do a typing test and send you a card that tells you what your blood type is, they also often do a cholesterol test as well.

If you are too young or unable to donate blood, you can always ask your doctor for a blood typing test. It is really easy and I'm sure they would be more than willing to help because people should know their blood type.

By the way, when you have your blood typed, they will also include the Rh factor test, so you will know your ABO type and your Rh type. If you are Rh negative, you are in a percentage of only 15% of the world's population. The other 85% all are Rh positive.
