It is a very obsolete processor, slow and has low FSB speeds. It won't really matter if you get a new graphics card to help run these games, and newer games nowadays, because this CPU just wouldn't be able to harness the power of the GPU in the graphics card. In order to play games well, especially graphic extensive games like CoD4 or GoW, you need to balance the power of the CPU and the GPU, with most weight on the GPU, but still have some weight on a CPU, because if the CPU is too slow, there won't be much of a performance increase.

It sounds like a good computer in general, but your graphics card comes first for gaming. One card I recommend is a NVIDIA Geforce series, preferably the 8400, great card.
