Hi,

I am a teacher, but I have slight doubt regarding endosmosis in raisins. I would be thankful if anyone could me the definite formula. The formula I have is W2-W1/W1 x 100, or is it W2-W1/W2 x 100? Is it possible the result be more than 100%?

I'm not sure what you are asking for. There are two slightly different definitions of endosmosis:

And I can't tell which applies to raisins as a whole (though I would guess you are dealing with the biological definition). I also don't understand the Ws in your question.

However, you might want to look at:
