The first anniversary is a BIGGIE. My suggestion is not do just one thing. If you can, make a whole day of it. start the day with some brunch. (If you can sleep late on that day.) Then go do something really nice together: Go shopping, see a play, visit a place of some signicasence.

That evening, go to dinner and a movie she's been wanting to see. Whatever takes place after that (Because this is read by all ages) is up to you.

I have been married for 4 years now. One of the gifts she still has out for all to see, is a crystal rose. (That's because she has asthma, and a real one would mess her up!)

But the best part of that is she has that to keep, always!

Good luck, Stud!

One idea is getting a new band for wedding ring, even if money is an issue, you can get something that matches at
walmart at a good price...
Or even a anniversary necklace......
She will love you to make all the plans, treat her to a nice dinner, and exchange gifts, maybe go to her favorite place and do something she loves to do, just remember,
a woman likes to do what she is interested in.
She normally feels it about her or than about the two of you.

First anniversary is Paper...so buy her a voucher for a day at a spa or something, and on the actual day, go out and have a nice dinner and do things that she wants to do.

Do something rememberable. It doesn't have to be expensive, it doesn't have to be life-threatening...just rememberable. Whether is a campfire picnic, a night at home where you both help cook the meal and then curl up on the couch to watch a nice romantic comedy or dinner at a fancy restaurant. Just do something you'll both remember.

You could go get a nice hotel room with a whirlpool tub or hot tub, get food delivered in with champagne and just enjoy each other.

Just do what you both will remember.

My husband and I went out for dinner and a movie. Nothing intense or expensive. We just enjoyed each others company. I got him a movie he had been wanting and he had flowers sent to me that day. Little sweet thoughtful things are the best for your first.

go out to eat somewhere nice and romantic? Go watch a movie...if it's nice out take a walk around a lake. If you dont wanna go to a theatre than rent a movie at home and cuddle =] you can cook dinner or something...light some candles.

Re-live your first date. My husband and I went to the same restaurant and did the same things, right down to the same clothes worn. It was nice.
