All washing machines discharge lint to the drainline. It is your drains that need cleaned. I use Draincare by Zep once a month in my drains. It is an exzyme cleaner and safe for all drainage systems. Enzyme cleaners cling to and eat organic clogs. Caustic cleaners eat a hole in the clog and go to the main sewer system, leaving a partial clog to start the process all over again. If your washer is fairly new, the drainline may be undersized. new codes for washer drains is 2" instead of 1-1/2". This is due to the more powerful pumps on newer machines.

Install a lint filter between the discharge hose and the pipe it goes into. That will stop the lint from entering into your pipes

if the lint is clogging the pipes then you don't have a self cleaning washer... get a plumber to fix the pipes and the washer.

Draconis has a great advice. I shop quite a few of those zip cleaners reachable. despite you do, do no longer stick a dampen the vent stack. Water will discover the backside point, meaning this is going to flood the bathtub, and maximum probable the different bathing room furniture, spilling on the floor and making a extensive mess. If the zip purifier does not artwork, you may attempt snaking, yet in no way interior the path of the drain. you're able to desire to get rid of the waste & overflow conceal (under the spout) and snake with the aid of it. it particularly is the place the waste line is.

If you are using powdered soap, stop. The powdered soap will coat the inside of the pipes and cause them to plug. You can add a lint filter in the line, but this will be a maintenance headache. The best thing to do is switch to liquid detergent.

Little confused. Do you mean clothes washer? If so, there might be a lint trap in it, like dryers have. Check your owners manual to locate it. You may just need to clean it more often
