It has to be something within modest means. Not like a house or expensive item. Why did you pick the theing you did?

I've been homeless and down on my luck before, it can
happen to anyone...I wanted a hand up, not a hand out,
so like you said, "If I could.......", I would pay a salary that
would be adequate for this person to be self sufficient,
because most homeless people have a job, it's just
not paying enoungh for them to have a home and
support the necessities to sustain the home.
