The Earth is at a minimum 91 million miles from the Sun, and at a maximum, 94.5 million miles from the Sun. Yet we see it, quite clearly, with a somewhat large presence in the sky every single day.

To compare, Venus is at a minimum 25 million miles from Earth. Almost 1/4 the distance of the Sun, and yet we can only see it as a tiny speck that looks like a standard star in the sky to the untrained eye, and only during specific times of the year.

I'd say the Sun does not seem very small at all, and your perception of interstellar objects is way off.

While the Sun is "Huge" incomparison to the Earth's actual size, or the Moon's actual size, it is also 93 Million Miles away from the Earth. Objects seem to get smaller the farther away they are from the observer.

Look at any car or airplane. When it is a long way from us, either one will seem to be just a speck on the horizon, yet in reality they are much bigger. The same principle is at work when we consider the Sun.

ask yourself why the tree in the distance seems so small until you get near it and it will help and, if you are in a moving vehicle, going fast on a highway, ask yourself why the trees nearby zip by so fast but the trees in the distance (the ones that look small) seem to move so slowly.
