Have you ever had to yell back at a boss if he/she was yelling at you?

Do you think its worth it to get fired for yelling back at a boss if he or she yelled at you?

Personally, I think it is, since you shouldn't let people mistreat you. I think you have every right to defend yourself and reputation even if it means getting fired.

Yes, I tend to do that a lot. I probably shouldn't but whatever. I definately have a problem with authority!

My boss is Korean.. half of the time I don't understand what she's saying, so she ends up yelling just because I ask her over and over to repeat herself. I don't mind. It used to really bother me, but now that I've earned her respect by being a hard worker, I understand her better as a person and it helps us communicate a little better. =P

I wouldn't yell back, but my boss is in for a rude awakening because I am turning in my notice Monday. I am over her.

I worked at Pizza Hut for years and I stood up to every jerk manager they brought in. This one guy was so mad, the veins were popping out of his head.

let him/her yell at you and then say something sarcastic to make them feel stupid like.....wow that was a mouthfull or want a mint? or something....dont stoop to their level! turning it back around on them is usually most beneficial

yeah i have done that before. i didn't get fired though. it just p'd them off. good luck.
