Yes....not because I am that unbiased but because I believe in the jury system. I've served on juries many times, most criminal cases and when actually serving you realize you are holding that person's future in your hands, so I pay attention to all the evidence and make decisions on the preponderance of evidence, reasonable doubt etc....despite my feelings.

Well, if i was on the OJ jury, i don't know if i how fair i could be...

I have a couple biases, and I'll be honest enough to say that. with his trial for the double murder, on one hand, i thought, 2 whites dead, black man suspect, naturally they want him to fry, and i played the infamous race card. on the other hand, as a woman, i get soooo frustrated when i think of how much violence is happening to women, especially in marriage, and i automatically wanted his head on a platter...

so i was a little conflicted. Now, my opinion of him have been shaped so much by all of that, and so i don't know how i could honestly be impartial

Even though I know of his history and have strong opinions about it, and about him, I think I could be fair and impartial on his jury. I don't like lies, and I would not go against the facts presented. The prosecution would have to prove their case to me for me to vote guilty.

I served on a jury last year, and it was very difficult for all the jurors to be fair and impartial...and we had no prior knowledge of the defendant. How anyone could be impartial when they know this guy's history would be a mystery to me. Good luck to the hapless jurors in this case !

Yes.

The whole point of a jury trial is to allow several people (it's not always 12) listen to the evidence presented and the arguments to support each sides interpretation of that evidence.

My personal opinion of the individual and anything that he may have done in the past should not enter in to it. I do understand that it can be a difficult to do that, but not impossible.

Otherwise he would never go to trial and be judged guilty or acquitted.

I cannot lie and live with it. While the past would be in my head, I believe that I could still stay focused on what is presented before me and not let the past affect my judgment. I could be fair and impartial. It is a different case, different time.

I believe I could be, IF I could sit for all those long hours of deliberations & ridiculous questions. When they allow jurors to stand & walk about the courtroom, I might be able to serve on a jury again. Until things change...I'm out of that loop!

Oh, how I'd love to say yes to your question. But the best I can say is "I would hope so"...

I would like to believe that I could judge the case on the facts presented. I would hope I would.

But, I'm so convinced of his guilt concerning the murders and so absolutely disgusted by this waste-of-space human being that I would probably have to recuse myself.

I will have nothing but admiration for those jurors who will sit on this trial. I hope they have more courage than I probably possess.

do you think when he was on trial for murder that that jury was impartial? No they aquitted that murderer and I would get on that jury and vote guilty no matter what- sorry that I could not be impartial, but he deserves serious jail time and his wife deserves justice.I am usually very impartial and honest, but not with him!!!

There is no way I could be fair and impartial. I still feel strongly that he got away with murder last time. I think he's just an idiot that doesn't know what to do with himself anymore. Send him away for good...
