Does anyone have a Columbia House membership? If so, can someone please tell me how I can speak to a customer service rep in order for me to cancel my membership? They ask for an account number but I can't find the number anywhere. Please help!!

Just write cancel on your invoice and send it back to them.

Go to their website and look for the customer service number there. Then call them. You don't need your number. They can find you in their database.

But if you cannot find their number, wait a few weeks for the next Columbia House mailing. It will come. Just like death and tax forms.

And good luck dumping them. Once you join Columbia House, they'll never let you out. Kinda like the Mafia. Once a member, always a member, "till death due us part".

yikes! c-house SUCKS good luck with this one.
They make it difficult purposely, its no accident. Your battles wont end with the discovery of that account number.
Get their number from dialing this one
800-555-1212 try and get an office number instead of a general purpose number, and youll be more likely to get through. Be to the point with whoever you talk to and get names of everyone including their cust. rep id's
this way you build your case and evidence that you made attempts to cancel.
good luck.
