Women were held down by men in a patriarchal world for centuries, but women who are educated can accomplish as much as a man (except maybe play football,) women were denied access to the best food, shelter, and other needs therefore affecting what we could do, and when a woman did try to do something (like correct a man) she could be beaten- this is still happening in many undeveloped/underdeveloped countries in this world.
