Any and all, but especially home made, and then the best has to be Russian Rye. The aroma of baking rye bread is absolute heaven on Earth. Rye toast with REAL butter and a light sprinkling of cinnamon and sugar. The tartness of the rye perfectly offsets the salt of the butter and the cinnamon and sugar. I'm italian so I like all kinds of breads and pasta's.
My fav is italian & wheat , whole grains and for breakfast I love a mexican bread called concha (pan) bread.

mmmm... I love garlic bread, too... especially if cheese is involved. I like really dark bread for a nice big deli sandwhich - like pumpernickle or rye... with chicken salad... mmmmm...
