Mere graduation doesn't make one particularly well educated. Besides the books there are other ways to gain knowledge and wisdom. While most who have graduated college are well educated there will be some who simply slip through the cracks and some how don't seem as educated as some who have not attended college at all.
In the days George W. Bush attended Harvard and Yale, and a few other ivy league schools, one could buy a degree. If a relative had attended the school and would donate enough money miraculously even the laziest, stupidest, dumbest of people could be granted a degree. Fortunately that is not happening as much any more. While it is true that Cs get degrees one would hope that the person holding the highest office in the land would have gotten better and more legitimate grades.
My grandfather had a 5th grade education. That is all that was necessary for a farmer in his day (late 1800s and early 1900s) but his wisdom and knowledge ware greater than many people who had much higher educations. He wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth and so his wisdom and knowledge came, not from ivy league schools but from life. That life was not easy as for some.
17th Century philosopher Voltaire said "Common sense is uncommon". My grandfather had a great deal of common sense but some in the highest offices in this country do not.

i do no longer think of this is that straightforward. If Christianity exchange into all approximately merely following what teh bible stated and not questioning for your self then greater Christians could be homestead schooled, they does not bypass away their very own little Christian factors, and there definately does not be any at right here - and yet right here they are! additionally, Christianity looks between the greater tolerant religions while t comprises observing different ideals. people who bypass away the religion and bypass decrease back are welcomed, as is quite plenty all of us who needs to be there. if that they had an argument that severe with exterior impacts, woudl people who had left their ranks be allowed to return so actual? If thinking Christianity and its related matters exchange into incorrect, could there be maximum of sensible Christians? and that i think of Jesus could have graduated college, yet probable a community college; in spite of everything, he exchange right into a chippie.

As someone who has a masters degree (3.5 gpa) I can assure you that all college means is that you are well educated in the field of your degree by the standards of 5 years ago.
Society and technology are changing too fast and whatever degree you have is five years out of date when you graduate.
Also, just because you have a business degree doesn't mean you know anything about government. A master electrician has had years of study and experience but I don't want one as my lawyer.

too another poster - every job I have applied for post-college did in fact require a transcript - in the fields of science and engineering at least, a transcript is always required for employment. Even after work experience
- and you would be hard pressed to find any MD who got into medical school with a C average.

Graduation from any university with any degree is not a guarantee that one is educated. The true test is what one does with their education after they graduate. In this respect, Bush gets a big fat F.

Does graduating college guarantee one is well educated?
Well, it helps.
Unfortunately, I don't think it helped Bush jr.
He is a bone headed individual who only listens to others when they are telling him what he wants to hear.
Not a great model for business or politics.

No amount of schooling guarantees smarts...and no amount of smarts guarantees wisdom...Our entire political system proves this all too well.
We keep repeating the same mistakes over & over...We don't demand greater, We don't seek grander...so it's not just the governing wonders showing what they don't possess--We the People need to get a grip, too.

I've met some pretty ignorant "Straight A" graduates. I'd rather have a C president with common sense than an A President without.
When you are interviewed for a job you don't take your College Transcript in...you take your resume with your work experience. I've never been interviewed for a job and asked what grade I made in History class...have you?

Graduating from college does not mean you are well educated, and if defiantly does not mean you are going to get a good paying job. I know whereof I speak.

Barbara Striesand is the one who started all this examination of Bush's academics when she said; "we are being led by a C student"
Babbs was a depressed hypochondriac who barely made it out of Erasmus High in Brooklyn.
When she did, she went directly to a gay bar for a job.
Just thought you might like to know what company you're in.
