Knowing they couldn't swim would you have pushed him/her in the lock when you walked along the canal?

Oh God yeah, without a shadow of a doubt, in fact if i ever see him in that situation again, my foot would be firmly fixed to his ***!!! ha ha, great question!

Why is the inability to swim the only variable? What if the water is murky and I can't tell that it's only waist deep? What if there's something for her to grab onto? What if there are witnesses? Sorry, but the scenario you describe remains too fraught with risks to seriously consider.

No i think we would probably do the same thing over again. I had a very bad marriage but id do it over again for that 1 week of pure bliss out of our 30 years together. The rest was sheer hell, but yeah id do it again, but then im not very smart about matters of the heart.

If I could then no, but you can't go back in time, so you have to try and accept the past and move on. I believe things always happen for a reason, even if the reason isn't clear there is always a reason.

Down our way disused mine shafts are a far better option.
They got no chance of climbing out of them, you still got the same chance of drowning them as most have water in the bottom.

if they were born to swim yes i would.

i heard a saying once...that life is like setting sail way out to sea on a ship that you know is going to sink.

you will sink or swim depends on your will

Um I have this personal issue against drowning people. Maybe it's just me.
