Hmm.. this marriage is over me thinks. What is causing his depression. Does he have any sort of addiction (drink/drugs) or is he having an online or real life affair? Get to the bottom of the depression. It's not fair on either of you.

Either the PAIR of you get some therapy or bin it.

Life is too short & you should be happy.

Any man who truly loves you would not leave you in tears.

Oh darling, I think he's playing with your emotions a bit here. Hitting you is called domestic violence and you dont have to put up with that. You are good enough and dont ever think otherwise. You need to get out of there, there is women's aid, they can help, if you feel ready.

None of this can be doing you or your kids any good. You can try and talk to him, but it sounds like he has some sort of influence on you to make you think you arent any good anymore. Talk to your GP, maybe take a friend who can support you.

He hurt you badly by hitting you, and you're asking why you're scared of him? Pain and fear are naturally connected. That's why a child will touch a hot stove burner once, but never again. It's completely normal to fear pain.

No wife should ever be scared of their husband. If you're that unhappy in your marriage and you fear he will hurt you, now is the time to seek a lawyer and request a divorce.

You need to get some counseling. Personally I would have left for good the moment he laid a hand on me. Please get help, you can't fix this on your own.
