I would put 50K in the bank, quit my job and just ROAM the Earth for a few years until I am 30.

I would go diving and surfing in Australia, trekking in New Zealand, partying in Asia, snow boarding in Canada, road tripping across America, motorbiking and sightseeing across Europe, partying in Holland etc

Then I would come back and put a deposit on a house with the other 50 K and get a good job and hopefully a nice girlfriend.

I dont think I could ever give up my work. No matter how much money I had it doesn't buy happiness and knowing that im a very active person i would need to keep busy. Plus caring for those i work with has its own rewards which i couldnt let go of.
However, if i did have this money i would proberly give up working full time and go part time instead. I would open up my own Aromatheraphy and Magic clinic where I could practice what i know for many more people.
Recently brought a new car so i wont be needing another new one just yet.

I would use it to market a couple of inventions I have. One new idea is at the stage where I have to build a prototype, but I need to hire an engineer consultant to help me with electrical output to have a working model. The other is almost ready to have patented and marketed. I was in my 20's during the 60's, and it was a great time in my life. I did the long hair hippy stuff, along with 6 years in the military. Not at the same time, LOL.

100K would not last long at all so leaving a job would just be silly. I would pay off most off my Credit cards and so some home improvement.

My mortgage is just over that, so I'd pay all that off and then rent my flat out.

With that monthly income (not that much) I'd go backpacking around the world for 5 years minimum to see all the corners of the world, that's my dream.

I would get out of credit card debt ($2,000), pay off 20% of my mortgage principle so I no long have to pay the PMI, buy a bike and a PS3 and then invest the rest.

100K is not nearly enough to even consider quitting my job. I would put all of it in a CD with about a 5.6% yield. Then after it matures I would take a vacation with the interest earned.

Buy a small sailboat, bank the rest, and set course for the South Pacific.

Pay off my house and buy two good used cars (one for me and one for my wife - well 100K would not be enough for all of that so I would just pay off my house).
