The politically correct police have informed Santa Claus that he will no longer be able to go "Ho ho ho" during the Christmas season. Ho ho ho, they informed him, might be offensive to some women in this country.
While in America, Santa must use the phrase "Ha ha ha" instead. Do you think Santa will comply, or tell the PC police to stuff it?

I am so happy that I am not the only one who feels this is the last straw in the PC haystack!!

I have never posted a link to one of my questions...but felt it was appropriate as a back up to this question.

Regardless of the FULL story...the sentiment remains the same....it is ridiculous, and no amount of rationalizing it will lessen the PC police running amok....as with every other example of this lunacy...if left unchecked, it will ruin every tradition we hold dear....we will eventually have to rewrite the entire English dictionary, as to not offend anyone....

You are incorrect. This story is out of Australia and is not happening in America. And on top of that 'Ho Ho Ho' is not banned. The Santa's were counseled that some women might take offense to Ho Ho Ho and to use thier own descretion.

This home invader needs to be stopped at all costs .
Ho HO HO in most cases is the truth .
DO the math . Single women with three kids and dating . three kids three different daddy's and people say Santa can not announce to the residents that mom is a ho .
Please do not offend me with such silliness .
Santa should be shot for breaking in .

Did you read the WHOLE piece, or just the sensational headline? Here, word per word, is the final paragraph:
A local spokesman for the US-based Westaff recruitment firm said it was "misleading" to say the company had banned Santa's traditional greeting and it was being left up to the discretion of the individual Santa himself.

I posted a Q the other day about Santa being told to "slim down". This is ridiculous! Santa has been a part of children's life for over 200 years...why try to change him now. Please, please name me one woman who takes "ho ho ho" as offensive.
