How about INDIA and PAKISTAN reuniting once again ? What will be the cultural and economical impact of this reunion? There is no doubt that both the countries are eager to extend their hospitality and brotherhood given a chance.Please give your opinion ?

This has been the dream of most prudent Indians--of every religion. person to person, there is brotherhood indeed, but these wretched.politicos spoil it as a rule.
If this reunion takes place, both the nations will save 80% of their Defence Expenditure, which can go to the uplift of our poor.Culturally, Hadiqa Kiyani & Alka Yagnik will sing together & Pak & Indian Drama writers / artists will bring to the stage , a pleasant reneissance.
But when will all this happen,? In our lifetime Insha Allah ! Khuda Haafiz biradar.

I think u are aware of the main reason by which the partition was initiated was the "fear" in the minds of Muslims of India on the possibility of being brought down in the society both economically and socially without any political powers which being aquired by the majority Hindus after India is feed. This ofcourse was partly due to the smartness of Britishers in their own way. The Muslim league, which stood along side Mahatama Gandhi and Congress in most of the agitations till 1941 suddenly changed their stand due to their insecurity feeling.
But i will not agree with your idea which is very much utopian. We have lived through more than half a century as separate entities and it's out of question to think of reunion. The best that can happen now is sorting out of J&K issue forever which would make this subcontinent more peaceful.

And what purpose would it serve? As it is we are a Third World Nation. Do you want India to step down to Fourth or Fifth?
Pakistan is reaping what it has sowed. They cant expect India to build their nation, while they gather and plan 'How to bring about second partition as soon as Pakistan has its purpose served'!

i think India is self sufficient, pakistan will contribute hardly to indian development. Only what India expect from pakistan to live & let live, stop cross border terrorism, live and behave like a gentle neibhourer. India welcome any hand of friendship from pakistan and we also expect democracy in pakistan for the betterment of its citizens, as it will also affect Indian peace process.
