Oh! Don't get me started!

The left wing loonies attack on Christianity or anything resembling Christianity is .......... I can't think of a word bad enough.

I have one thing to say to them.... "leave my God alone, leave my Christmas alone, my Easter, my Thanksgiving and any other holiday traditionally known as "Christian". Leave stuff alone, we have managed just fine celebrating Christmas etc., if you don't want to celebrate fine but leave our "christian" holidays alone! And while your at it, leave my countries flag alone, don't burn it, tear it up or otherwise disrespect it!

Merry Christmas!

Political Correctness (PC) is the communal tyranny that erupted in the 1980s. It was a spontaneous declaration that particular ideas, expressions and behaviour, which were then legal, should be forbidden by law, and people who transgressed should be punished. It started with a few voices but grew in popularity until it became unwritten and written law within the community. With those who were publicly declared as being not politically correct becoming the object of persecution by the mob, if not prosecution by the state.

The slogan 'Australia is Multicultural' is a claim that:

Different cultures are compatible.
People who contradict this claim are blinded by prejudice against other cultures.
People who contradict this claim are trouble-making bigots, which makes them enemies of the community, if not humanity, and deserving persecution.
All of which is an attack upon truth, clear thinking and plain speaking.

Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas! I will not let some idiot with a big ego take away a Holiday tradition. Leave Santa alone. Who are we gonna tell the kids brought the presents? Mr. Claus and his associates? Don't wanna say elves after all. It may offend someone.

This might be over reaching just a bit, but if you read the article fully you will find that the 'Santas' were given awareness of a potential problem with 'Ho Ho Ho' and given an alternative. They were not banned from saying 'Ho Ho Ho'.

But I ask you, if a sidewalk Santa who might have had a bit too much schnapps at lunch addresses an attractive woman with 'Ho Ho Ho' and a lecherous grin is there any doubt about what is on his mind?

Did you read the WHOLE piece, or just the sensational headline? Here, word per word, is the final paragraph:
A local spokesman for the US-based Westaff recruitment firm said it was "misleading" to say the company had banned Santa's traditional greeting and it was being left up to the discretion of the individual Santa himself.

Why do the liberals have to try to destroy our society with this mumbo jumbo. Santa Claus has been one of the icons for Christmas since it was commercialized. We all know the next thing they are going to try to do is take away the right to have a nativity scene because it represents Jesus.
