Sure it is. A funeral is for the people who are grieving, not for the one who's died. If it helps you deal with your grief, then go for it!

Man if my little dog "Frankie" ever died ('cause she never will) I would hold a funeral for her and honour her little soul. I love her so much. She is without a doubt my best friend.
Yeh that would be cool in my book of cool. I hope nothin has happened to your dog by the way.

Yes. You need to rent a hearse and get flowers and put the notice in the obituary section of the newspaper and have a wake at a funeral home and buy a headstone and casket. The whole thing should cost about 20,000.

I know someone that had a funeral for her dog last month. Her 12 year old poodle was attacked and killed by a pit bull. It really broke her heart to lose her dog, and she had a small service for it.

No reason not to. The funeral procession through town might be a little too much, though.

Mhmm and put rocks over the grave, for obvious reasons. Dogs are cool.
